Developments in 2007…
The PerfectLaw Development Team has worked hard to enhance the product line to be the most comprehensive in the legal marketplace and has thus minimized your need to go to multiple vendors. 

One of the main areas of development of PerfectLaw® in 2007 has been advancements in Document Management and Imaging.  Ultimately, PerfectLaw® hopes that each of its client will become paperless.  

Some paperless enhancements completed in 2007 include the following….

Paperless Workflow®
Our Paperless Workflow® product has significantly improved since its introduction 2 years ago and now includes PDF creation of scans, added security features, and other enhancements to streamline workflow.  Our imaging solution is one of  the best offered today. It manages scanning and imaging with automated notifications, document profiling, routing and emailing.  Users simply print a cover page form similar to a fax coversheet that includes document profile and email routing information. The cover sheet is placed on top of the documents and while documents are scanned, read and processed by the Paperless Workflow® server software. Then, notification, profiling, and emailing happens automatically. Yes, it’s that easy.

AP Invoice Imaging
With the PerfectLaw® AP Invoice and Check Imaging feature in the Back Office, users can access images of invoices and signed checks. Invoices are scanned in batches and appear as images in the vendor invoice screen as users process new entries and add cost detail lines to client matter ledgers.  Once checks are cut and signed there is an automated batch scanning process that images and stores each corresponding payment check profiled as well. 

PerfectLaw® Document Previewer
The PerfectLaw Document Viewer/Contents Preview feature allows users to instantly preview documents of any application type from within PerfectLaw® Front Office interface, AIM®, (with the Document Management feature) without opening the document and without the need to have the native application installed.  This provides users with greater flexibility to quickly scroll through a list of documents and easily find the one you want in seconds.
